I’m in the unique position
where I get to be hands on with every step of the coffee process. I speak to Filipina Farmers when we’re sourcing the best beans, and paying them a fair price is imporant to me. That’s the heart and soul of this busiess. I’m most proud of the beans because that’s where the work was the hardest and has the most impact. We’re lucky to be recognized for our pretty rainbow lattes, which I’m so grateful for. I hope to be able to educate coffee drinkers and advocate for farmers by sharing our coffee. Our branding, packaging, and even how our lattes look when we serve them are my way of highlighting one of the Philippine’s most valuable natural resources. I am proud to be Filipina, and I want to make the Philippines proud.

After months of sampling different Philippine coffee beans, I finally found the ones I wanted to buy- Arabica from the province of Sagada. I met with the farmers, with the help of the Philippine Department of Agriculture, and was surprised to learn they were mostly women, earning very little to support their families. That meeting changed me, and I have been committed to supporting these farmers and helping them realize their worth.
